Phang-Nga province is home to the well-known and stunning tropical islands of Phang-Nga Bay National Park. The most famous one is 'James Bond Island', a needle formed limestone rock in the sea which featured in the movie 'The Man with the Golden Gun'.
The world famous Mu Koh Surin national park includes the Koh Similan and Koh Surin Islands, two of Thailand's main diving destinations. With many outstanding natural attractions, stunning beaches and world class scuba diving and snorkeling, it is no surprise that Phang-Nga is among the most popular places to visit in Thailand with both foreign and local tourists.
